Wrapping up for the project



The Students , of  class 2B who wanted to make a project about Unit 8 in the Student Book for the second year of preparatory School , started with a discussion about making friendships with foreigners and thought about the Essential Question, How can we change our everyday boring routine and try a magic daily program!!!,,????? To know their abilities of work in the project through a presentation for measuring student needs. And also I told them the instructions of entering the computer room.
The students mentioned many means of media and communication technologies. They can use the modern technology facilitates in reaction among the different nations of the world That'll focus our aim to increase interconnection of people and place. We'll introduce the idea of a pen friend..
Here the idea our project came it was

( You're invited to a Japanese meal called ( Sushi ) )
We made a suggested timetable for the project to show the approximate time needed. They also made a list the resources we will need. Then, We made a publisher of a parents' invitation that contained a Brief About The project, Students Parents thank, The 21st Century Skills and the features Of learning That depends on projects. I went to the head teacher and told her about the project and its targets then I showed her a financial note to spend on the project. I also made an estimated budget of the project.
After that, we had to take an entering the lab permission. We went to the librarian and took a borrowing books permission.

Students brought their Father's approval of the public library visit, a Father's Approval of taking part in (You're invited to a Japanese meal called Sushi) project. I wrote to the parents and asked them for Father's Approval of the visit to Alexandria and using the Internet Permission. The students will discuss possible solutions to problems. There also were the Works students sleeked the help of.
During the project
The students are divided into 4 groups:
The task of The first group
( The Library Group )

1-Dina Mohamed Omira .
2-Mohamed Ayman Mohamed .
3-Ayman Tarek Esmael .
4-Aya Samy Samir .
They'll go to the library and search for some valuable books about the internet and the global communication.

The task of The second group
( The internet Group )

1- Esraa Sherif Hussein.
2-Sahar Esayed Makram.
3-Hadeer Hesham Abd Al Hak.
4-Mohamed Hosny Saad.

They'll use the internet browsers to search for some places we'll visit in Alexandria similar to the original ones.
The task of The Third group
( The broadcast and Community survey Group )

1-Nada Esam Mohamed.
2-Hasnaa Hosny Saad.
3-Mohamed Ahmed Al Sers.

They'll make a broadcast of the world pen-friends clubs to raise the value of technology in ideas exchanging.
The task of the fourth group
( The galleries Group )

1-Fedaa Tal'at Farag.
2-Amr Hesham Refa't.
3-Marwan Hossam Al Din Salah.

They'll make a gallery about some social communication websites like Facebook. They also will design a photo banner that contains the main events of their project.

The students asked Mr. Mohamed Al sayed our teacher of Geography and History for help. He kindly explained us what we needed about the mentioned countries.

We prepare an arena visit to Alexandria by sending e-mails and fax to the places mentioned below .That visit will enable us to see some places and people who are similar to the native ones and introduce themselves to them then our students will be able to make a real friendship there.

We’ll go to (Carrefour) market and have our breakfast in a “Sushi Restaurant” . In that place, we can recognize the Japanese culture, meals and habits.

There's a visit to (Collège Saint-Marc) in (Al Shatby) area to see some French Students who are the same age as you or Egyptian students who are learning there
and take a permission to enter the school from the head teacher. We’ll make a conversation with him and try to learn about France.


We’ll visit The British School of Alexandria ( BSA ) in (Kafr Abdo , Roshdy) area  and see some persons from the British  staff and delegation .
They will show us some of the British thoughts and we’ll learn about Britain and the Big Ben. 

We’ll go to Instituto Cervantes (the Spanish Language and Cultural Center)  in (Fo’ad St) and meet the Spanish professor who will tell us the history of Spain and some famous words in Spanish. 

We can go to (Al Batalsa St). We can visit The German Cultural Centre (GOETHE INSTITUTE ).They will tell us about the German habits and traditions, what languages do they speak , what their religions are and how they think .

We can go to (Fo’ad St). We can visit The Russian center for science and Culture in Alexandria. They will tell us about the some information about the Kremlin, Russian Culture, progress and habits, languages do they speak and what their religions are.
